The Covid pandemic has thrown us all a giant curve ball this year. Many small businesses won't survive and the rest of us are having to adapt to continue. As the lockdown eases, more and more businesses are reopening but with safety measures in place. We have a sneeze screen arriving, plenty of sanitiser for staff and customers, distancing markers and of course natty Bean Hive masks.
The Bean Hive is a old, narrow and higgledy- piggledly building, not well suited to social distancing. For this reason we are not reopening as a conventional shop quite yet.
On Friday 12th June we launch our new website which features a huge array of our products and a selection from our traders too. As well as postal deliveries we will be offering local deliveries and a click and collect service every week afternoon and Saturday mornings. We will try to be as flexible as possible and if you have particular issues please don't hesitate to send us a message.
We will continue to monitor the situation and reopen as soon as we feel it is safe to do so. We love our crazy busy shop and can't wait until the day that we can return.
